In a new international achievement, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has assumed the presidency of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) for its 69th session this year. This session, held by the United Nations, focuses on discussing issues related to gender equality and the empowerment of women worldwide. This appointment reflects the Kingdom’s efforts in supporting and empowering women both locally and internationally, and in promoting their role in achieving sustainable development.
The session witnessed the participation of the Chairperson of INSAF Center, who contributed to discussions on ways to advance women’s rights and support initiatives aimed at improving their conditions in various communities.
The Commission on the Status of Women is one of the most important international bodies shaping policies related to gender equality.
