INSAF Center conducted awareness sessions with support from DT Institute
July 18, 2025

INSAF Center for Rights and Development, with support from the DT Institute, conducted an awareness session on the six grave violations committed against children in conflict zones. The session took place in the Al-Buraiqa District, specifically in the Qaro area of Aden Governorate.

The session targeted a group of Mohamshyn women from local neighborhoods, during which informational brochures were distributed. These brochures included details on reporting and monitoring mechanisms, a comprehensive explanation of the risks children face, methods of protection, and the importance of reporting violations. The session had strong engagement from the participants, who expressed their need for more awareness activities to help protect their children and promote a culture of child rights in their communities.

This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts by INSAF Center, in partnership with the DT Institute, to raise community awareness and foster a safe environment for children in Yemen, especially in conflict-affected areas.
