Insaf Center for Rights and Development participated in the launch event of the “the Ab’aad Hub”, held in the interim capital Aden, in partnership with Oxfam and with support from the European Union.
The Center was represented at the event by Mr. Rami Awn Assistant Programs Manager, who emphasized the importance of strengthening coordination among civil society organizations to unify efforts in defending human rights and advancing women’s empowerment.
The hub brings together twenty organizations working in the fields of human rights and women’s rights. It aims to enhance institutional integration, defend rights and freedoms, and contribute to building a society grounded in justice and equality.
The launch ceremony was attended by representatives of international human rights organizations and local authorities. During the event, the hub’s vision, objectives, and future plans were presented, with a strong emphasis on the importance of joint action to maximize the impact of civil society organizations in Yemen.
The Center reaffirmed its commitment to active participation within the hub in support of human rights causes and the promotion of sustainable development, stressing the need for coordinated local and international efforts to ensure the protection of rights and the empowerment of the most vulnerable groups.
