Insaf Center for Rights and Development Concludes Specialized Workshop in Aden to Strengthen the Legal Framework and Judicial Response to Cybercrime Cases
#Insaf_Center_for_Rights_and_Development concluded today in #Aden the activities of a specialized training workshop titled: “Strengthening the #Legal Framework and #Judicial Response to Cybercrime Cases.” The workshop was organized with support from the Embassy of France in #Yemen as part of the project “E-Justice for #Women in Yemen (#Brave Women)”, held from May 5 to 7, 2026.
The workshop, which aimed to strengthen participants’ capacities in addressing this growing category of cases, featured in-depth discussions on ways to develop the legal framework and #judicial response to #cybercrime. Discussions also addressed #challenges related to investigations, #digital evidence, and the role of #technical and specialized entities in supporting the course of justice.
During the final day, workshop sessions focused on #analyzing current legal gaps, reviewing comparative international experiences for potential adaptation to the #local context, drafting proposed legal provisions, and developing a roadmap aimed at strengthening legal protection and keeping pace with rapid #developments in this field.
The Insaf Center for Rights and Development affirmed that this workshop comes within the framework of its ongoing efforts to support the development of more effective national cybercrime legislation, contributing to the protection of victims—particularly women and girls—and strengthening institutional responses to increasing digital challenges.
