Conclusion of the Second Day of the Specialized Workshop on the Legal Framework and Judicial Response to Cybercrimes in Aden
#Insaf Center for Rights and Development concluded today in #Aden the activities of the second day of the specialized training workshop titled “Strengthening the #Legal Framework and Judicial Response to #Cybercrime Cases,” held as part of the project “Electronic Justice for #Women in #Yemen (#Brave Women),” with support from the French Embassy.
The second day of the workshop featured in-depth discussions on methods of investigating #cybercrimes and the mechanisms for handling #evidence presented in such cases. The sessions focused on the legal and #procedural standards required to ensure the integrity of evidence and its admissibility before judicial authorities.
The sessions also #highlighted the role of technical and specialized bodies in supporting investigations through #digital evidence analysis, tracking electronic incidents, and providing technical expertise that #helps uncover the details of #cases and strengthen access to justice.
In addition, the workshop addressed mechanisms for #protecting victims from a legal perspective, including ensuring confidentiality, protecting privacy, and providing legal protection for those affected, especially in cases involving #women and #girls in the digital space.
This program comes within the efforts of Insaf Center for Rights and Development to enhance legal awareness and #improve judicial responses to cybercrimes, contributing to the #development of a more effective and responsive digital justice system.
