INSAF Center for Rights and Development, supported by Freedom House, has implemented psychological support sessions for vulnerable groups and Yemeni religious minorities

The project includes a series of stages starting with intensive psychological support sessions led by a group of specialists and doctors, followed by visits to historical and religious landmarks to deepen the connection with identity and history. Additionally, the project involves camping trips to connect with nature and reduce stress, along with visits to theaters and cinemas to enrich the cultural aspect. The stages conclude with diverse cultural evenings contributing to building strong social relationships.

This project aims to enhance mental health, provide support to the most vulnerable groups in society, and create a safe and stable environment where they can express their feelings and experiences without fear of judgment or discrimination.

A group of 20 individuals attended the group session for psychological support, which is an important tool for supporting mental health and enhancing the well-being of vulnerable groups and Yemeni religious minorities.

The session covered several topics beneficial to these groups, such as reducing psychological pressures, enhancing their cultural and social identity, social interaction with others, and early intervention in detecting health issues.

Mrs. Maryam Hamida, President of the Center for Human Rights Equity, stated that the Center works in the field of issues involving unique women, advocating for public freedoms, vulnerable groups, and Yemeni religious minorities

She added that this project offers a diverse range of accompanying activities and events, a significant humanitarian step aiming to provide psychological and health support to vulnerable groups and Yemeni religious minorities.

It is worth noting that INSAF Center for Rights and Development places great importance on this segment of society, providing comprehensive services enabling their active participation in society and contribution to achieving sustainable development. The center strives to build a healthier, more just, and inclusive society.
