
Ms. Eman Homaid, Chairperson of Insaf Center for Rights and Development, participated in a farewell dinner hosted by the German Embassy in Riyadh in honor of H.E. Catherine Corm-Kamoun, French Ambassador to Yemen.
The dinner was attended by a number of ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions from the United States, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Spain, the European Union, and the Gulf Cooperation Council.
During the evening, the Chairperson of the Center honored Ambassador Catherine Corm-Kamoun on behalf of Insaf Center for Rights and Development, in recognition of her efforts and positions in support of human rights, women’s empowerment, and strengthening the role of civil society in Yemen.
The Center expressed its appreciation for the role played by Ambassador Catherine throughout her tenure, particularly her continued engagement with Yemeni civil society and her close attention to the concerns of Yemen and its people. This included her visits to Yemen under exceptional circumstances and her consistent encouragement of Yemenis to work together in the interest of their country.
Insaf Center also highlighted the positive impact of Ambassador Catherine’s engagement with civil society organizations and her support for initiatives aimed at advancing human rights, protecting women, and expanding civic space in Yemen.
